The situation in Libya

Hey I've been following the situation in Libya and think everybody should be aware of whats going on so I threw together a little infographic to outline what is happening.

I've included links after the jump that you have to see. Included is an interview with a citizen of Benghazi who describes the situation as genocide, the army has begun moving through the streets killing citizens at random. Hospitals are filled with dead bodies and the interviewee literally cries for the world's help.

The countries currently affected by popular uprisings after decades of dictatorial rule.

Below is a really useful link that summarizes all the protest action happening in the above countries.

Aljazeera, currently the only news organization in the world giving this situation the focus it deserves has a live blog continually updated with news from the region. If you want to know what is happening minute by minute this is the only place to go. The link can be found below.

A lot of people have told me they are not interested because they don't know anything about the situation. We living in a new age of complete access that has never been experienced in the history of the world. Inform yourself because I can promise now this is going to affect you down the line some way or the other.
